The new MAM UltiVent Baby Bottles have only been available at Target and Amazon.com until recently. We’re excited to finally have them in our hot little hands!
They look like a well-thought-out, yet affordable safer baby bottle option. We read through some of the reviews on Amazon.com and found the following thoughts from current users:
- They are good bottles and the nipples (silicone) work well for our son (age 3 mos). The only problem, and the reason I gave it four stars, is that the lid where you insert the nipple can warp if you boil it for sterilization, and then there can be major leakage around where the nipple should seal. This is a function of its being PP instead of the tougher PC plastic. So, soap and water on the lids! You can boil the silicone nipples.
- I love these bottles! I spent so much time looking for a “baby-safe” plastic bottle that would make the transition from breast to bottle easy, and these bottles fit the bill! I have never had any problems with leakage at all (you just need to make sure all of the seals are firmly in place). My son (5 months) loves these bottles – and with the vent system he hardly has any gas at all! I would definitely recommend these to any moms out there trying to make the transition from breast to bottle.
