BPA Free Sassy MAM UltiVent Bottles Now Available

The new MAM UltiVent Baby Bottles have only been available at Target and Amazon.com until recently. We’re excited to finally have them in our hot little hands!

They look like a well-thought-out, yet affordable safer baby bottle option. We read through some of the reviews on Amazon.com and found the following thoughts from current users:

  • They are good bottles and the nipples (silicone) work well for our son (age 3 mos). The only problem, and the reason I gave it four stars, is that the lid where you insert the nipple can warp if you boil it for sterilization, and then there can be major leakage around where the nipple should seal. This is a function of its being PP instead of the tougher PC plastic. So, soap and water on the lids! You can boil the silicone nipples.
  • I love these bottles! I spent so much time looking for a “baby-safe” plastic bottle that would make the transition from breast to bottle easy, and these bottles fit the bill! I have never had any problems with leakage at all (you just need to make sure all of the seals are firmly in place). My son (5 months) loves these bottles – and with the vent system he hardly has any gas at all! I would definitely recommend these to any moms out there trying to make the transition from breast to bottle.

Has anyone else had experience using the MAM UltiVent Bottles? Please share with us!

Love love love these bottles! My daughter is almost 4 months old and we started out with the playtex drop ins. I thought I just had a fussy baby. Turns out it was gas. I came across these MAM bottles and I tell everyone now I have the happiest baby in the world. These bottles are a lifesaver. The plastic is thicker and takes awhile to heat. If I am in a hurry, I will just pour the milk into a bag and warm it. Highly recommend these bottles, no problems with leaking. Love them, thanks MAM for giving me a happy baby!!

These bottles are awesome! I have been using these since my son was a month old, hes 4 months now. Since using my son has been really happy and gas free. Hes not fussy at all. I tried other bottles here and there but none have done any good but these. So these are what we will be using as long as he will need to use a bottle.

They do not leak if you use them right. For those who are having problems with leaks are because the valve and valve cover are wet. You have to put these together after they have dried.

I wish more stores carry them. I either order from drugstore.com, who are presently having a sale w/ free shipping or a local Babiesrus when in stock.

I have used these bottles from birth as they were amazing in the transition from breast to bottle. (although still BM used) But mine too leaked at the screw on top after about 3 months. I am happy to know that they are BPA free but gutted as I started using the Advent bottles at about 6 months of age and they are not!!
*Meredith* the Advent teats fit the MAM bottles but the lid squashes them down.

These bottles are the best… I have tried few bottles with no luck, and one day I was in a hurry and forgot to pack the bootles ( dr. Brown) so I went to the pharmacy close by and bought MAM without knowing how it was going to work and it has been amazing she drinks out it and gets no gas. to make it worst i’m out of town and I wash the bottles before I left the house and left the bottles drying YEAH they are still drying at home and in Miami it has been a pain to find them nobody carries these bottles……She has gotten so use to these. and I love them easy to clean and not that many pieces.

Has anyone else had a problem with these bottles after the formula is heated, where it starts streaming out of the bottle when turned upside down? It's not a leak and the bottle is assembled correctly. I am using slow flow nipples. When the formula is cold and the bottle is turned upside down, it simply drips out. But as soon as I warm the formula it streams out and my baby is unable to drink from it because it makes him choke. I even tried putting the all ready heated formula into a cold bottle from the fridge. I tested the cold milk from that bottle and it dripped, but then when I added the lukewarm formula, it ran out of the nipple. It is so frustrating. I have spent so much money on these bottles all ready. When I first bought them I didn't realize they came with medium flow nipples, which he couldn't use. So I just bought 8 slow flow nipples and now he can't use those. I have been using Playtex Nursers with the inserts while I was waiting on the new nipples to come in. I didn't want to have to keep buying disposable inserts. But I guess I will have to stick with them, since these bottles are useless to me.
